At death, he is hard and tough, yet unable to live for even a minute longer, thus hardness and toughness are allied with death, while softness and weakness are allied with life. This alignment with nature is the reason the tougher fighters are more likely to be killed and the harder trees are more likely to be cut down Lao Tzu Yin and Yang- Known as the principal of opposites Yin - Female & Yang - Male Heat cannot exist without cold. To have light there must be dark. Ultimately the theory goes they become one in the same. According to the Chinese Yin is the soft, passive, negative force. Yang is the hard, active, positive one. |
